Wakes

I recently shot a short film for a friend of mine, the director Thomas Mendolia. Thomas is a first year graduate student in the film program at USC, and years ago his wife Cheryl and I did several plays together at Triad Stage in Greensboro, NC. She played my sister in The Glass Menagerie, and I still think that production is one best things of which I've been a part. Thomas asked me to play the role of Benton in Wakes, a short that uses magical realism to look at the complexity of marriage. As an added bonus, my wife (in real life) Lesley plays the "other woman." I've done almost exclusively theater in my career as an actor, so it was a lot of fun working on this with Thomas.
